GIRLS AND TOYS

Stimulated by the uncertainty of the typical British climate provoked the idea behind this project. Extending the winter wardrobe into the spring months, that we all know bring their own cold spells, gives the girls a chance to remix their outfits. The aim was to produce looks that reflect the teenage need to dress up and borrow clothes from those around you, like your mum’s boots or brother’s Stone Island. Located in a distinctly English neighbourhood, the Girls have been shot making the most of a standard local day out, focusing on how dressing up and looking the part brings excitement to another grey cold day.
